Why would you work with me?

I have 27 years’ experience in the human rights sector and have worked widely across the human rights sector including the United Nations, Council of Europe, Amnesty International, the Scottish Human Rights Commission, Penal Reform International and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

I know the challenges you face as I have been there myself and I’ve got lots of experience, advice and inside knowledge to share.

In the course of my career, I have helped over 150 human rights professionals, like you, as you start out in their human rights careers. I’ve also given careers talks and presentations at universities all over the world to both undergraduate and Masters students on how to pursue a career in human rights.

I’m here to help you turn your purpose and passion into a fulfilling human rights career.

Here’s how I helped Ansha:

Ansha Krishnan,  ICRC Legal Advisor, Canberra, Australia

Vicki's support in my human rights career journey has been invaluable. Even though we spent limited time together, she was incredibly attentive, went above and beyond by responding to my questions and providing her input at very short notice.
I highly recommend Vicki to anyone who is feeling stuck in their career journey. She's incredible!
Eternally grateful.

Here’s how I helped Idil:

Idil Aydinoglu, Project Assistant,  Reform International

“Vicki is a fantastic mentor, an inspiring professional and a wonderful person to think about your future with and decide your human rights path. She is not only incredibly kind and supportive but also very brilliant at detecting your strengths and skills and helping you shine them out in your CV, motivation letter and during interviews

Her contributions to my CV and motivation letter were so beneficial that they immediately increased the success of my applications.I definitely recommend working with Vicki if you are seeking your way in the human rights world. I feel so fortunate to have had the chance to meet and learn from her.”
